I met Rachel dare I say about 21 years ago. Ok that really doesn't seem possible but we met in 9th grade and have been friends ever since. We became locker partners in 9th grade and had several classes together and I think we were pretty much locker partners throughout high school. Over the years throughout school we were always friends. Our friendship was always strong, we made other friends and hung out with different crowds at times but we were always friends. In high school we would always talk about living close to each other, I think we were going to be next door neighbors:) so we could have family bar-b-ques and hang out with each other. Anyway over the years we haven't always talked often but that friendship was always there and then when she moved to Puyallup that friendship was still as strong as it was back in the day. I never thought that we would really be back living in the same city and in the same ward but it is wonderful. Rachel I hope that you have an awesome birthday today. Your friendship means a lot to me. I am grateful for you and your little family, I love your children and think your husband is pretty cool too:) I am so glad that we are friends I know that I can always count on you and you are so caring and generous and willing to help anyone in need. Thanks for being there for me for 21 years! I hope you have a good day, you deserve it! You have always been a good example to me and someone I could always come to for advice. Thanks again, I love you and I am grateful for your friendship. Now I can't have a birthday post without an awesome picture from back in the day. Don't laugh, we thought we were cool:)

Where did you find that picture??? That is too funny!! I love ya Mindy. What a fun little walk down memory lane. Locker partners....do you remember how we would always try and make our locker look so cute and organized at the beginning of the year and then about a month into it we couldn't even open it without books falling out and smashing our toes? My hair is cracking me up in this picture....pastels are so not my thing. Why did we have matching shirts anyway? You know I am going to dig through all my pics now to post one for your birthday...too bad I didn't have more time :)

Awwwwww. I love the professional BFF pics from our day. Mindy, if Jodi's hair was bigger than yours, I will have to see it to believe it. Honestly!
Oh my Mindy... that made me laugh so hard I joked. It reminds me of my not so proud days when I showed up at Mom and Rachel's getting ready for Grant's wedding. Oh dear... not my proudest days. Anyway... I love that you and Rachel are still friends. Old friends keep us humble.
