Remodel Complete- Warning big post!

I am all of a sudden on a posting frenzy! I don't know what's up! We are done with our remodel and I wanted to post some pictures of before and after. I have posted some of these before ones already but now you can see the difference. We actually have been done for quite awhile I just haven't had a chance to post them. Enjoy!

These are some very old pictures but I wanted to find some of the before to show the difference. The decor has definetly changed, don't laugh:)

Now this is what it looks like now!
I absolutley love our house now. I do still need curtains for my office and living room but I haven't found the right ones yet. It has made such a big difference. I could live here for a very long time now- it will be 9 years on Wednesday! We will be here for a long time but I am grateful and blessed to have a wonderful home and a wonderful family. I want my sweet husband to know how much I love him. He did this remodel almost completely by himself. We had a few friends help out and of course I did what I could but he did most of it. He is my hero, my heart and my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. Thanks Doug for giving me a blessed and wonderful life. I love you!

Chance and Max

Just a random picture I took yesterday of Max on Chance's head. It was cute so I thought I'd post it. You can't see much of Chance but Max looked pretty comfortable! The kids love these dogs and have been pretty good taking care of them.

Balck Berries!

Today started out with Y classes and soccer and on to cleaning rooms. I told the kids once they were done that we would go pick some black berries, for some reason they were really excited about that. We went over to Ferrucci Junior High where Chance goes to school. We walked around and explored and pick black berries. I took pictures because there were too many spiders:)

We got quite a few and the kids got home and washed them and started eating them. They said they were good.

We also took the dogs with us so they could run around and get some exercise. They had a great time running around. Max and Camo have gotten big and have been a great addition to our family. They really are good dogs and are learning our rules quickly. I think we got lucky.

My babies are growing up!

Starting school this year was a bit emotional. Chance started 7th grade, Austin started 4th and Shaylyn started kindergarten. It is hard to believe that I am in my mid thirties with 3 kids all in school and being somewhat independent. In a way it is nice, on the other hand it is kind of sad. This picture is one of my favorites, Chance was in 1st grade, Austin was about 4 and Shay was about 6 or 7 months. Time flies when you are having fun. I love these three kids more than anything and I am grateful for them in my life. Some days more than others:)

Now they are big crazy kids! I love you all very much!

I like the quote my sister has on her blog and I am going to try to do this more. It says: "Being a parent means never having a minute...yet always making a moment" Life is too short! Make the most of it. Ok theres my advice and my moment of being sad that they are growing up. I can be grateful there are no more diapers:)

Do the Puyallup!

But not on fair day! So this was the first year we went on Puyallup School Districts "Fair Day". It was so busy but it was our only day we could go. It was fun but it's always the same thing year after year. We just can't not go though, it's tradition! Anyway I also forgot my camera but luckily my friend Christy was there to take a family picture. Thanks Christy!

Home Alone

So I know it has been a while since I posted but life is just crazy. We got the kids rock band for the Wii which they love but Doug and I haven't played it and we have had it for a couple of months. Anyway we played with the kids last night a little and then today when they all went off to school Doug and I rocked out. I sang and he played the guitar, needless to say it was quite interesting. No romance at our house when the kids go to school it's all rock and roll:) We had fun and we didn't have to hear fighting over who got to play what. Although Doug did hog the guitar! Good times at the Gailey's when the kids are at school:)

Shaylyn's official first day of Kindergarten

Here are a few more pics of Shay on her real first day of kindergarten. She still loves it and is excited to go everyday. She has a great teacher and is having a good experience. I am grateful she is so excited and loves it because it makes it easier on me to let her go. I am happy to see her so happy and excited to learn:)

Shaylyn and Kailie her best friend that lives next door. Some days they are inseperable. They didn't get into the same class but they ride the bus and have recess together.
She's not a ham or anything! Strike a pose:)

Family fun on Saturday

On Saturday Doug's work had a big health and wellness fair and so we took the family plus a
couple of boys we were watching for the weekend. We had a great time. The fun started off with
Doug playing a couple of softball games with all the rail roaders!
We then moved on to have lunch and the kids got to ride a bull, rock climb and the 3 oldest got to be sumo wrestlers for a while. They had fun but it was pretty hot in the suits.
