My Sweet Brookie Cookie


This last Tuesday was Brooke's birthday and I have had a cold so I haven't been on the computer much anyway I wanted to wish her a very happy birthday. Jodi had a big princess party for her on Valentines day so we had already celebrated her birthday. Anyway Brooke has the sweetest little voice and she is soooo cute you can't resist just loving her. I am so thankful for all my nieces and nephew's but Brooke is the last and the baby and she is just so dang cute! Anyway Brooke I hope that you had a great birthday. Auntie loves you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE #1 MOM!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

So this is a little late, I am sorry my mom's birthday was January 23rd but we were down with the flu and then just trying to play catch up from being sick. I just want mom to know how grateful I am for her. SHE IS THE BEST! We have always been close but I consider her one of my very best friends and I am so happy that I can call her anytime and tell her anything and she will be there for me and support me in all of my choices no matter what. She is always there for me and my family.
I hope that this year brings you many wonderful blessings because you deserve it. I love you very much and I am grateful you are my mom and my children's grandma.

When we are away the dogs will play!

So Doug and I went to the Y this morning after the kids went to school and this is what we came home to.





Lesson learned when you come home from church put the bag in the closet not on the floor by the front door. Luckily it wasn't any thing I needed. They can be little stinkers but for the most part they are really good. :)

One more thing!

I know I am playing catch up. I haven't blogged for awhile. New Haircut

Shaylyn wanted to get her hair cut so bad and we finally did it. I love her long hair but it is so hard to manage and her new shorter hair is wonderful and easy and she really loves it. She likes to look at herself in the mirror:) She would look beautiful now matter the length. I love you sis!

Shoveling snow in Washington?

Doug grew up in Utah and they are used to getting snow but he never thought he would have to shovel our drive way in Washington. Needless to say we are so glad to have rain instead of snow. The kids aren't of course:)



This house is at the end of our street, a sweet little lady named Evelyn lives there with her husband Al. Al has been sick and Doug and I have helped them out a little in the last few months. Anyway she asked if the boys could come down and shovel her driveway. They did a great job and didn't complain, probably because she paid them. Anyway it was still nice of them.
